"We stumbled onto Cafe Cinquecento by accident. We had searched Trip Advisor for restaurants in Thornbury but there aren't a lot. We walked by the attractive cafe and saw how it was buzzing, so we decided to go inside. There's a beautiful red 1970 Fiat Cinquecento car sitting just inside the front door. We opted for a pizza and bottle of wine, both delicious and very reasonable priced. The service was very good and the servers and manager very friendly. A server told us that the restaurant had only opened a month earlier, and judging by the food, service, and lack of empty tables, they'll be open for a long time to come.

"I have been to Cinquecento many times since it has open and every time the service was wonderful and they have been friendly and inviting which is why I will continue to go back. The presentation of the food it always good. Would have so say one of the best italian pizza restaurants I have been too.

"this is a great find....proper Italian cooking at its best....there is nothing pretentious about this place....owner Alf and his staff take time to visit each table...i have been here a few times and have to say tonight was great....food....service....atmosphere....it was my friends first time at Cafe Cinquecento and they were definately impressed...see you soon again...all the best...keep up the good food..ciao."

"I have been there a few times now and the service is wonderful every time. They are extremely accommodating with the food and it is wonderful and fresh. I recently had the gluten free pasta which is hit and miss with most places and it was suburb. by far the best gluten free pasta I have had. I will definitely become a regular and would highly recommend it."
